About Dr Mieran Sethi
Dr Mieran Sethi is a substantive NHS Consultant Dermatologist at London Northwest University Hospital NHS Trust, practising across Northwick Park and Ealing hospitals. She graduated from Imperial College London in 2009 with a first-class intercalated BSc before completing her medical degree there. She undertook a four-year PhD at St John's Institute of Dermatology, supported by an MRC Clinical Research Training Fellowship, researching the mechanisms of sun damage, skin cancer and skin ageing, while continuing clinical practice as a medical registrar at Whipps Cross Hospital. She has published first-author articles in the British Journal of Dermatology, the Journal of Investigative Dermatology, PNAS and Nature Protocols, and presented internationally. She trained in Dermatology at St Mary's, Charing Cross and Chelsea & Westminster, served two years as national trainee representative for the Dermatology Specialist Advisory Committee, and has collaborated with Vichy UK (L'Oréal), La Roche-Posay and BIODERMA. She has performed over 500 minor skin operations and holds a special interest in genital skin disorders.
