Urgent Care · IV Treatment & Infusions
Real IV medicine — given safely.
Doctor-supervised intravenous treatment at our private medical centre near King's Cross — fluids and electrolytes, IV antibiotics, and consultant-led specialty infusions. The kind of care most clinics can't safely provide.
“An IV drip isn't a wellness gimmick — it's powerful medicine that goes straight into your bloodstream. That's exactly why it belongs with an experienced, doctor-led team.”
- Doctor-led, consultant-supervised
- 10 specialties · 40+ doctors on the team
- Same-day where clinically appropriate
IV treatment is assessed, prescribed and supervised by a doctor — every time.IV treatment needs more than a needle
Putting medicine or fluids directly into a vein bypasses the body's defences — so it demands advanced safeguarding, the right monitoring, and a team experienced enough to act if anything changes. Many high-street clinics aren't set up for it. MEDii is — because we're a robust, doctor-led medical centre, not a drip bar.
A deep clinical team
10 in-house specialties and 40+ consultant-grade doctors — genuine medical depth behind every infusion.
Experienced on-site treatment
Our team delivers and monitors IV treatment day in, day out, with the safeguards and emergency readiness IV requires.
A doctor decides, every time
Every IV is assessed, prescribed and supervised by a doctor — never given on request.
What we can deliver by IV
Fluids & electrolyte balance
Rehydration and restoring the body's salt and electrolyte balance (电解质) — for dehydration, illness, or after fluid loss.
Vomiting & Diarrhoea ClinicIV antibiotics for infection
Intravenous antibiotics where an infection needs stronger, faster treatment than tablets — prescribed and supervised by a doctor.
Health-parameter support
Targeted infusions to support specific health parameters where clinically indicated.
Specialty & biologic infusions
Administered only under senior-consultant approval and guidance — see below.
Consultant-led
When your treatment needs a specialist's hand
As a multidisciplinary medical centre, MEDii can administer specialty drugs — including biologics (生物制剂) — by IV, under the approval and guidance of senior specialist consultants. This is where being a doctor-led centre matters: the consultant who owns your condition oversees the infusion, with monitoring and follow-up built in.
Which specialty and biologic infusions we deliver in-house is confirmed at consultant assessment.
- Consultant assessment & approval of the treatment plan
- Administration by an experienced clinical team
- Monitoring during and after the infusion
- Coordination with your wider care
Visiting the UK? Don't interrupt your treatment.
If you're travelling and already have a prescription from your home country for an IV medication, MEDii can help you continue it safely. We arrange a review with a UK consultant; if the doctor approves the treatment plan, you can resume your medication while you're in the UK — without a gap in your care.

IV treatment, explained
Can I just book a drip?
No — and that's the safe answer. Every IV is assessed and approved by a doctor first; it's medicine, not a menu item.
Why can't most clinics do IV antibiotics or specialty infusions?
Because they need advanced safeguarding, monitoring and an experienced team on hand. As a doctor-led centre with 10 specialties, MEDii is built for it.
I'm visiting the UK and take an IV medication at home — can I continue it?
Often yes — a UK consultant reviews your prescription and, if approved, we continue it safely while you're here.
Is this the same as a vitamin drip?
No — clinical IV treatment is doctor-led medicine. Our wellness drips and NAD+ are a separate Well-being service.
What if I need more than an infusion?
We connect you onward — NHS, a partner hospital, or your insurer — with your records in hand.
